Likeness Render

This was one of my first Sculpt/Render pieces i had to do for my portfolio while at Vancouver Institute of Media Arts

Ill be honest with this piece, i struggled alot with this. when i first got into it i didnt know much about facial anatomy and secondary forms. although i had a ton of Orlando Bloom photo's, i wasnt able to see the features in his face right away. It did however teach me alot about facical structure and forms, and if i was challenged to do another likeness sculpt, i probably would do it again.

Texturing was done using the Zapplink function, patching various photo's of Orlando Bloom's face onto the thing in photoshop aswell as various lighting edits. Displacement maps were also used on the model

Hair was done with Exporting Fibermesh curves from Zbrush to Maya, and then i set up nhair on the curves and played around with the modifiers to get the desired result aswell as adding Vray hair shaders to it to get the result i was looking for.
